presents a non-profit mission…

Oleashare, the non-profit arm of Oleascape, LLC was formed with the sole mission to bring the healthy benefits of olive oil to communities in Northern California that normally don’t have access to this healthy product.

Oleashare locates unharvested olive groves and hosts gleaners to harvest the olives to share! Our “shared olives” are pressed at the Oleascape mill and oil is donated to a variety of Northern California food networks for distribution.

• GROWERS: Community Olive Sharing; looking for olives to harvest this FALL. We’ll do the harvesting, milling and locate a donation spot for your olive oil. Bulk or bottled. Donate a portion or all of your crop for a tax-deductible donation. Located in Northern Sonoma county.

• GLEANERS: We are currently putting together the Fall Gleaning Schedule. If you have a group (4+) or more, corporate volunteer day or any means to come help us bring in the Fall Olive Crop, do let us know. You’ll harvest olives for 4 hours, snacks & water provided. Email to sign-up today.

Thank you to the growers that share their crops and the many volunteers who glean the olives!

Nan Autran leads teams to glean the olives and get the product to the mill. “We glean olives during olive season all around Northern California as well as get donated olives from growers who face milling schedules that don’t coincide with the ripened fruit. It’s such a wonderful feeling, not to waste the fruit and get it into food networks that are thrilled to get such a high quality product.”
